My name is Jacqueline Flores, and I’m from the countryside of São Paulo, Brazil. I’ve been working as a web designer for over twenty years. Ever since I was a child, I’ve loved reading and creating my own stories — but only now am I having the opportunity to publish them. I love writing for children because it allows me to connect with my light, sweet, and dreamy side — with my inner child.

When I wrote Flip-flop the Kitten, I was inspired by the everyday behavior of cats and how it naturally entertains both children and adults. My second book, The Ladybug and the Little Girl, was inspired by the many little ladybug visits I often get at home. I pay attention to the simple and spontaneous moments in life — and that’s what I love to write about.
