Aidan was born blind. Today was his eighth birthday. His father promised him a dog for his birthday. Though his father wanted a service dog, Aidan wanted a dog to love.

As soon as Mercy stood before him, Aidan knew she was the one. "I can't see what she looks like, and she doesn't care that I'm blind."
